Abstract:
The main purpose of this course is to explore the diplomatic activities of the envoys of Korea, Vietnam, and Ryukyu in the modern East Asian world, especially their interactions with each other in various parts of East Asia and in Beijing. These envoys not only played an important diplomatic role in East Asia, especially in Beijing, the capital of China, but also became an important medium for cultural, economic, and political exchanges between countries. By understanding the activities of these missions, we can recreate the dynamic situation of the East Asian world at that time, explore how the envoys of various countries affected the relations between different countries, and promote the understanding and knowledge of the East Asian countries at that time.
