The reform and implementation of the new curriculum is aimed at emphasizing the literacy and learning of high school history teaching, especially breaking the boundaries of national history, making the importance of East Asian history and Southeast Asian history increasing day by day. However, there are still deficiencies in the quality of teachers and teaching in secondary school. In order to meet the current urgent needs, the Center for Multi-cultural Studies specially organized this workshop to introduce the cultural characteristics of Southeast Asia in different fields of religious and cultural research, especially the connection between religions in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The course areas of the workshop are set as follows: Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and the diversity of religious art and architecture. This workshop is planned to target teachers and students of National Cheng Kung University and high school teachers, focusing on the history, religion and cultural diversity of Southeast Asia, exploring the construction and transmission of multicultural knowledge in this region.
